This is my sister Kelly. She is an ICU nurse at a hospital in NYC. Her unit is treating critical COVID-19 patients.  Like many others I wanted to find a way to help these heroes on the frontlines of this fight. 

 

On March 21st I bought my sister and the nurses in her unit lunch. I posted on social media and invited others to donate so I could keep feeding the nurses. Since then:

 

• Over $37,000 has been raised​

• Over 5,000 health care professionals have been fed at three different hospitals in New York City and Connecticut

• We are supporting small businesses. All food is purchased from local restaurants. 

 

While this started with nurses we are now feeding everyone from doctors, respiratory therapists, to custodial staff. Every one of these people are on the front line of this fight. My goal is to continue serving meals to those working in our hospitals until May 15th.
